We're a new(ish) company building our portfolio but that doesn't mean we're wet behind the ears. The collective experience of the directors encompasses complex high profile international design and marketing projects for presidents, sheiks, corporations and business leaders on project fees up to £1.5billion.
We are a cross discipline agency and that means we can think with many hats. By pooling our experience in marketing, journalism and design for graphics, web, installation, furniture and print – all under one roof – we provide a more holistic, joined up and considered approach.
But ultimately we love to get creative and solve problems. If we had a philosophy it would be honesty, open mindedness, friendliness, and to be enthusiastic.
Marilyn and Phil founded Splash Content in 2014 and haven’t looked back. We’ve been fortunate to work on some amazing projects and with some fantastic and truly inspiring clients who continue to be extremely supportive. If you’ve read this far and are contemplating a new project then please do get in touch, or find out more about our creative directors below.
Marilyn Parr is one part writer with a love of the printed word and two parts creative with a fascination for digital media.
Before Splash Content Marilyn worked within the fields of journalism, graphic design and marketing. She has written for the Presidency of South Africa, MSN and the Sunday Times. Her marketing experience encompasses digital and commercial marketing for ITV and copywriting to sell TV shows internationally. When she’s not at Splash, Marilyn can be found in the great outdoors collecting specimens for her ever-increasing rock collection.
Philip Hodgson has a strong strategic, design and delivery background, having worked across digital, print and the built environment, he is comfortable working in pixels, points, millimetres and kilometres.
Working in London & Boston offices Phil has worked extensively on high profile international projects to meet often complex deliverables with high expectations. Project budgets have spanned zero to over £1billion. While working at KLA in London Phil was lead design for the landscape of the 2015 RIBA Sterling Prize winner Burntwood School.
Given the chance he likes getting his teeth stuck into concept development, strategy, identity, delivery and loves to solve problems. When not at Splash he likes to explore, have adventures and often dreams of skiing.
